What it costs, and what it does
- BUYBUTTON fee
- None. There is no fee and no treasury.
- Pool fee
- 0.05% – 1.00%, set per token by the venue with the best quote.
- Gas
- Paid by BUYBUTTON, not by you.
- Slippage
- 1.5% default, 6% ceiling. Past the ceiling the order does not fill.
Self-custody
You sign once, granting a capped, expiring allowance to a small executor contract. Output is hardcoded to your own wallet — the contract has no parameter for a destination, so the key that triggers your trade cannot redirect it, drain it, or spend past the cap you set.
Settlement
Fills are reported when the transaction is sequenced, not when it is L1-final. Finality on this chain lags around 16 minutes and has been observed frozen for far longer, so waiting on it would mean no product. Every receipt says which depth it is quoting.
Token identity
Counterfeit tokens with identical names and symbols exist on this chain. Every ticker is checked against the official asset registry and its on-chain proxy beacon before a swap is built. An unverified ticker is refused, never guessed.
